What are radiation and heat like toward the galactic core?

At what distance toward the galactic core will radiation and heat be too destructive for human life? Do we have any way of estimating (discounting future technologies that could protect us from radiation better than present tech). How big is the galactic core in diameter and density? What are radiation and heat like toward the galactic core?
All solar systems that make up our galaxy are migrating towards the center.

At some point the inner solar systems will begin to merge

It's hard to imagine how these entities will act as they merge.

A black hole does not inhabit the galactic center, but the final stages almost certainly will be a state of neutron star density.

Strong gamma ray radiation is likely to be present causing extremely high temperatures.

Some type of activity is present the causes the matter to enter a quantum state diminishing the density of space as a result the outer arms of the galaxy are being drawn towards the center at an accelerated rate.
